One hot summer evening we stopped to admire gorgeous lupins. Lupins are fantastically blooming early summer flowers fascinating with their colour tones.
In Sweden they grow in large numbers along main roads and in the wild fields. Many people do not know that these gorgeous flowers blooming in purple, blue and pink are actually invasive plants when they appear outside their native ranges. They are very dominant and can take over a habitat important to other unique wildlife. Therefore, this is one of the cases when picking these flowers and gifting them to a dear friend or decorating your home is actually doing good for mother nature as that way the seeds do not spread in the wild!
We picked some flowers with Amelia as she did not want to be left out from this bloom session!
